Usage and allowances
See what each app uses against your plan, with warnings before any limit.
Plans: Every plan, including the free app
What you get
- Usage bars for members, apps, storage, workflow runs and email
- An amber bar at 80% and a red bar at 100%
- An email to owners and billing contacts at both points
- Each app's memory against its limit
- The same figures from the CLI
- Overage so far and the next invoice
How it works
The billing page in the dashboard shows each allowance of the plan beside what the business has used this month. The allowances themselves are in the table on this page and on the usage page.
At 80% of an allowance, owners and billing contacts get an email, and again at 100%, once per allowance each month. The email says what happens next. For example, workflow events past the monthly allowance are kept and delivered when the month turns or the plan changes, rather than lost.
whisk apps info shows an app's memory now and at its peak against its limit. The app's log shows a warning at 85%, before it runs out. Storage counts every app's file storage, and runs count every durable workflow.
Example
A packaging distributor's quoting app keeps the artwork for every job. The owner gets an email when storage reaches 80% of the allowance. She archives last year's artwork, and the bar on the billing page drops back below amber.

whisk billing whisk apps info
whisk billing prints each allowance with what is used and what is included, for owners and billing contacts. Limits and what happens past them are on the usage page, and the commands are in the CLI reference.
